Reports to: Plant ManagerResponsibilities:Nestlé Waters North America, a high-speed production facility, is looking for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician.Required Skills Include:' Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting' Power transmission troubleshooting (chain/sprocket/gearbox conveyor systems)' Basic metal fabrication / welding / grinding' PLC programming (Allen-Bradley and Siemens preferred)' Troubleshooting 480 volt motor / 120 volt control circuits' Pneumatic troubleshooting' Plan, organize and perform required maintenance/installation activity as required' Perform electrical installations as required' Source and purchase parts & materials necessary for maintenance activities' Comply with building codes and accepted practices for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work' Adhere to all facility policies concerning safety, security, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)' Practice safety in the work areaThe primary accountability of the Maintenance Technician is to support the Nestle Waters North America bottling operations by maintaining the equipment in the factory at optimal condition. This is accomplished by performing preventative maintenance on the equipment as needed, and overhauling the equipment when necessary. A focus on line efficiency is a must, with a sound judgment as to when the line should be taken down. The Maintenance Technician will be expected to undergo frequent training on equipment and mechanical systems, as well as software and programming material. The individual will also be expected to train the bottling line operators in the efficient and safe operation of the bottling equipment. The Maintenance Technician will also work with vendors to purchase parts, schedule service calls, and troubleshoot equipment. The individual will be responsible for maintaining parts in stock and reviewing monthly expenses related to maintenance. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the instruction manuals for the equipment, and the as-built drawings of the facility and factory. The individual will also keep records of equipment certification and training logs for the line operators. This individual will also be required to collect data for and measure production KPI's. Interested candidates must be willing to work occasional overtime, weekends, holidays, and subject to being called in during off-hours to perform emergency repairs may be required.We offer attractive starting compensation and an excellent benefits package.
